At Maundy Thursday, the church remembers Jesus’ last evening with his friends where they met and shared the Jewish Passover feast together in Jerusalem. In the gospel of John, Jesus washes the feet of his disciples as his final lesson to them “to love (and serve) one another, as I have loved (and served you.) Jesus then broke the bread and shared the cup of wine, instituting the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist; a practice that has continued for two millennia.

Be present with the church on Thursday, at 6, as we continue the tradition of Maundy Thursday.
