Corporate Worship & Litergy
Acolyte Program (ages 7-17)
Any baptized adult or child (normally third grade and up) who wishes to assist the clergy in the worship of the parish at the altar of St. Andrew's. No experience necessary. Training required.
Lay Eucharistic Minister
A confirmed communicant in good standing licensed by the Bishop and trained by the Rector to administer the chalice at any Celebration of Holy Eucharist.
Lectors
Any person (normally third grade and up) with an excellent speaking voice who wants to read the Scripture in the service. No previous speaking experience is necessary.
Presenter
Anyone able to walk and carry at the same time (age 12-18 months and up) is invited to present the bread, wine, and water. Three steps involved as well as one long aisle! Families encouraged. Families of one will be paired with another.
Usher
Any member of the congregation willing to pass out bulletins and collect the offering.
Greeter / Ambassadors for Christ
Serve at each worship service to greet all and assist guests and new members.Personal Prayer Ministry Team
A community of Christian people committed to furthering the healing ministry of Christ in the parish and community. Members are scheduled each Sunday at the 7:30 and 9:00 AM worship services to pray for congregation members asking for specific prayer. Some training is necessary.
Choir member
Any teen or adult with the ability to sing during the 9:00 AM Sunday service and other special holiday services (and is able to attend rehearsals) is welcome to join the choir. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m..
Altar Guild
Anyone, male or female, called to serve God by preparing and tending the place where His people worship by maintaining all vestments, washing and ironing altar linens, polishing brass and silver, and setting the altar for all services of public worship.
PowerPoint Technician
