Becoming a Member

If you would like to become a member of Saint Andrew, please take a moment to determine which of the descriptions below best describes your current position. Next, contact our parish office, 765-457-2075, to begin the process.

Letter of Transfer
If you are already a communicant of another Episcopal Church, contact our parish office. Our parish administrator will write that church upon your request and ask for a letter transferring your membership to Saint Andrew.
The Episcopal Church recognizes baptism as the full initiation into the Body of Christ. It is a non-repeatable sacrament. If you have already been baptized in any other denomination, simply give our parish office the denomination and date of your baptism. If you seek baptism, contact our parish office and ask to arrange for this sacrament.
If you are Roman Catholic or if you have been confirmed by an Orthodox bishop, give our parish office the place and date of both your baptism and confirmation. You will also need to enroll in Pilgrims in Christ, our preparation program for reception and reaffirmation. After completing the program, you will be “received” into the Anglican Communion by our bishop during his annual visitation.
If you have never been confirmed in the Episcopal Church, you will need to enroll in Pilgrims in Christ, our program for preparing adults for this sacrament. Confirmation is administered by our bishop during his annual visitation. After your confirmation, you will be a "communicant" of Saint Andrew Episcopal Church.
