Order Of Worship


The Order of Worship is set forth in either the Book of Common Prayer or the book of Common Worship. The sequence of events is the same in Episcopal churches through the world. The formal term used to describe this ceremony is "Liturgy". Holy Communion (Holy Eucharist) is celebrated at every service. Not to worry if you feel a little lost as things go along. All you need to participate is found in the little booklet handed to you when you enter the sanctuary before the service begins. An explanation of every step is in that booklet in detail.

All children and adults are welcome to receive the Holy Eucharist who have been baptized with water in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and who have been admitted to communion in this or another church. If you have questions, please ask about anyone present. They will be happy to help you.
